TRUE OR FALSE? “Deltans Don’t Support Their Own” — Singer, Solidstar Blasts Kinsmen


“Omotena” crooner, Solidstar is not happy with the supposed disaffection shown by Delta State indigene to entertainers from the region.

The Isoko native took to social media to show his apparent displeasure drawing comparisons with the love Yoruba and Igbo entertainers get from their various regions.

“It’s a shame that Deltans have no regard nor respect for their entertainers like the Igbos x Yoruba’s #Nolove, should be the reason why we don’t come home! Respect and support ur exports!”

Solidstar real name Joshua Iniyezo. began his music career as a drummer for a local church in his hometown of Delta State.

Since then he has gone on to make a name for himself in the music industry after his debut single “One In A Million” featuring 2Baba received widespread acclaim. He has since gone on to have numerous hits like Omotena and Oluchi.

He has released four bodies of work namely, One in a Million, Grace$Glory, Solidstar and MORE.
